GRP - fibreglass non-slip walkways and flooring.
Working at Height are involved in the supply and installation of all aspects of GRP and fibreglass flooring, reaching out to many different business sectors, from the railway industry to large manufacturing plants.
Our fibreglass grating products are becoming ever more popular and looked at as the perfect replacement for many traditional metal products still used and or over time have worn and lost their anti-slip qualities, add any slippery substance, oils for example and you have the proverbial 'ice rink' situation.
In many older plants in the UK, wooden platforms and walkways have been introduced over the years, but are now no longer or very rarely compliant with 2013 regulations in relation to working at height or 'slips, trips and falls'. So there are many advantages that fibreglass grating has over metallic materials and wood, it does not corrode, requires no painting, so no maintenance and most importantly due to its coarse and abrasive texture it reduces risk of slipping and falling dramatically.
