Train to Train Evacuation Bridges

Two of our install team have this week been on a trip around 22 train stations across the southeast of England, from Victoria to Eastbourne, to install bespoke cabinets to house our train to train evacuation bridges, or ramps as our customer prefers to call them.

This now means that the bridge and handrails are in one place and under lock and key, and easily accessible along the route to react quickly to a disabled train, with the nearest rescue train stopping at the nearest station to collect the bridge and swiftly onwards to take the stranded customers off the disabled train and safely onto the rescue train.
