Profiled Train Maintenance Access Platforms

17th June 2026

The platform shown has been specifically designed to allow maintenance personnel to safely access systems, and components at the leading end of trains. The wrap-around working area provides excellent access while maintaining collective fall protection through integrated guardrails and toe boards.
Key features include:

  • Full-width access around bellows assembly.
  • Lightweight aluminium construction for ease of movement.
  • Mobile design with locking castors.
  • Anti-slip aluminium chequer plate decking.
  • Collective fall protection throughout the working area.
  • Compliance with the Work At Height Regulations2005 and relevant railway maintenance safety requirements.
Our bespoke platforms remain a valuable asset in supporting safe and efficient maintenance operations within the depot environments. We continue, and now for nearly 40 years to support rail operators, rolling stock maintenance facilities across the UK rail network.
