Working At Height Limited support a charity close to their hearts

New Company Charity - Parkinson's Disease

A cause very close to the hearts of the management team at Working At Height has been nominated as their official charity, The Parkinson's Disease Society.

Some of the money raised will go towards the funding of a local Parkinson's nurse. Ottie Whittle comments ' we have had some personal involvement with Parkinson's, so when choosing a charity for the business the decision was taken out of our hands through this experience and was made very easy. The management team then met with Hazel Taylor the Corporate Development Officer for the society, Hazel explained the many ways we can help now and in the future, from payroll giving to parties and events, we even have a potential marathon man who is eager to pound the streets of London for Parkinson's'.  Hazel Taylor from the Parkinson's Society also explains, 'this has all the hallmarks of a very rewarding partnership, which is wonderful news, both for our individual organisations and for people with Parkinson's, thank you so much for your commitment, enthusiasm and your support from everyone here at the Parkinson's Disease Society, we are looking forward to working with you'.<

Over the next year Working At Height's customers will begin to see a real presence across their corporate image, starting with a link from our website to allow donations from whoever visits our site, there will also be initiatives to encourage donations, Working At Heights Catherine Deal explains 'in these difficult times for many, when it appears that there has been to much taking, giving feels very rewarding now more than ever'.
