Genie's S™-60 HC Telescopic Boom Access Platform Receives Construction Equipment Magazine's Top 100 Products Award

Genie Industries’ S™-60 HC Telescopic Boom Access Platform recently received Construction Equipment magazine’s Top 100 Products of 2006 Award. The Construction Equipment Top 100 Awards call special attention to the most significant products introduced during the year.

The Genie S-60 HC Telescopic Boom Access Platform delivers the highest load capacities in the industry. The closest competitive powered access platform is referred to as a ‘dual capacity’ unit which offers 500 lbs unrestricted and 1,000 lbs restricted range of motion. The platform on Genie’s new S-60 HC is rated for 750 lbs, 50% more capacity throughout the entire working envelope. In the maximum capacity zone, the platform supports loads up to 1,250 lbs, 25% more load capacity than the competition, and provides 40 ft 8 in of outreach, including up to three people and gear. No other competitive powered access platform in the market offers comparable load capacities and outreach in the maximum capacity zone.

Products eligible for the 2006 Top 100 Awards were featured in the magazine between November 2005 and October 2006.
