Asked by one the UK’s most high-tech organisations to extend a platform 1200mm out from a tower system, as a MEWP could not be used was no easy task.
We also had to clear ducting and ensure that counter balanced base could pass through an opening of only 700mm wide, hence the unusual base configuration, with two very heavily weighted trolleys, so that the whole system can flat packed and the basses be moved individually.
To add to all this it all had to be carried upstairs as there was no lift to the location, hence this being the only solution, designed and installed by Working At Height.
