Train Roof Access Platforms and Gantries

Train Roof Access Platform for Desiro Rolling Stock.

Pictured is another Working At Height installation completed last week around Desiro Rolling Stock.

Access was required to unbolt the HAVC units so they could be safely lifted and lowered to the floor. As you can see in the images, this meant builidng the bespoke access system around a crane.

The design features include punched aluminium stair-treads and self-closing gates on each platform.

Another installation and another very happy rail customer.
