Merlin Helicopter Tail Dock

When asked to design and manufacture what could be the first ever tailor made tail dock for a Merlin Helicopter, some wizardry was indeed required, as the requirement was for four different platform levels, and with continuous wrap around, this to offer complete coverage as indicated by the technicians at the design the consultation stage.

The dock splits into three sections to allow easy positioning and storage. Manufactured in aluminium to ensure very little effort is required to move, helped also by the low friction 200mm (8inch) braked castors, being completed totally in aluminium it means that there are no adverse effects with leaving outside in any weather, should space be of a premium inside the hanger. 

Two complete tail docks were delivered and installed, with the outcome a huge delight to the end user, with access made easy and safety ensured.
