Electric Bus and Coach Access Platforms and Access Stagings

There is on rare occasions a huge change in certain industries that requires a fresh look at working at height safely, one of these was the demise of slam door trains in the UK to fully electronic doors and the introduction of air conditioning (AC), which prior to this the only air available was by pulling the door window down, or opening the even smaller windows in the carriages, so there was nothing to maintain at height, but with the advent of AC came the need to carry out maintenance of the AC units on train roofs and safely, but this type of equipment just did not exist in Traincare depots, so we were at the forefront of designing and manufacturing solutions for this change.

Now there is a similar change happening on the roads and in cities across the UK, and this is the introduction of fully electric buses and coaches, AC has been around for some time but now as well as AC on bus roofs there will be battery packs to maintain, so more reasons to work on the roof, but luckily the experience we have with working on and around trains will easily transfer to the bus and coach industry.
