Bloodhound SSC Sponsor Conference

Paul and Eleanor from the Sales Department attended the latest 'Sponsor Conference' organised by the Land Speed Record Team at the Bloodhound SSC Technical Centre in Bristol on the 28th of March. This is a chance for all the sponsors to gather and 'network' and also get an up to the minute update on the project from the Director Richard Noble OBE.

The day started with setting up our small exhibition area, right next to a Rolls Royce Typhoon Engine! Remarkable to think that this will be just one of the power sources to propel Bloodhound SSC beyond 1000mph, followed by the business version of 'speed dating', Eleanor and Paul moved counter and clockwise around a circle of chairs facing each other and moved every two minutes, until completing one full revolution, a great idea and it really ensured that the sponsors were aware of each others organisations and how this would benefit all of us.

At the end of the day the overall feeling from Paul and Eleanor was one of excitement at being involved in the project and being so close to a team of people and a car that will very soon be the talk of the whole world, as very soon the whole world will be watching!
