Bespoke Gantry Installed to Support Safe Working at Height on Heritage Trams

We are proud to announce the successful supply and installation of a bespoke access gantry system designed specifically for safe working at height on heritage trams.

This custom-engineered maintenance gantry provides a safe, stable, and practical platform for maintenance teams, ensuring vital restoration and servicing work can be carried out safely and efficiently.

The heritage trams, beloved pieces of transport history require careful handling, and working at height presents unique challenges.

Our team worked closely with site engineers and preservation experts to create a system that not only meets modern safety standards but also respects the integrity of these vintage vehicles and their surroundings.

The gantry is fixed and bolted to the floor was constructed using steel and aluminium, it is another example of how we are combining innovation and craftsmanship to support vital heritage work across the UK.

We are delighted to have been involved in this project and help to preserve our transport history while ensuring safe working at height.

The new gantry is now in use and playing a vital role in keeping these historical trams on track for future generations to enjoy.
