Insulated GRP rail mounted access tower system for London Underground (ECD)

Working At Height have completed another project for London Underground and for the Power Team at Ealing Common Depot.

Access was required to the power jumpers that are positioned over the side pits which are the full length of the shed. This required a tower system that was rail mounted as the jumpers can be positioned anywhere over 150m, so it needed to be rolled on the rail head to the jumpers and be able to reach out over the side pits.

Shown is the system shortly after commissioning and training, and offering the access required perfectly and safely. Note the side pit boards supplied a build aids.
