Working over desks and working above desks can now be done safely and efficiently with our Deskglider platform. Deskglider over desk access platforms represent a real breakthrough in safe above desk access now that standing on desks, tables and workbenches or precariously leaning from steps and ladders to reach lights or to access services above ceiling tile level is no longer acceptable in these post Work At Height Regulation days.

Mounted on 360 degree braked swivel castors and made from lightweight but strong aluminium, the Deskglider has been designed to be used by one person only. Its compact size means it fits through single doorways and its ease of manoeuvrability means it is ideal for use in confined or congested areas.

Whether your requirement is for working over desks, general low-level access or both, the Deskglider offers you the complete safe solution. Accessing fan coil units and other services located above ceiling tile level can be done safely and quickly. Access to ceiling lights, painting and decoration, high level cleaning, general building and maintenance work can now be achieved safely and efficiently.

ELIMINATE STEP LADDER USE

'A third of all reported fall-from-height incidents involve ladders and stepladders – on average this accounts for 14 deaths and 1200 major injuries to workers each year.' Also ("87% of all major work at height injuries are caused by low falls - i.e below 2 metres"(Source HSE)
